MAPS Youth Seminary Quarter 3
OVERVIEW
MAPS is conducting a youth seminary program for middle and high school students in our community to study Islamic studies at a deeper level with qualified instructors. Youth who complete Youth Seminary will gain a strong understanding of their faith including its core beliefs, rituals, and teachings. Youth who complete the program will also develop a solid foundation to continue studying Islam and to serve as role models and youth leaders in the community. Youth Seminary will differ from other programs including weekend school programs by having high expectations and commitment from students: students will have an attendance requirement, an entrance interview, and regular assessments throughout the quarter.
MISSION STATEMENT
MAPS Youth Seminary seeks to equip Muslim youth in the Seattle area with a strong foundation in their Deen through a more serious Islamic studies program taught by qualified instructors.
