Islamic Finance and Investment

Recurring event see all

The concept of Islamic finances and halal investing have become increasingly popular as a way for Muslims to conduct financial transactions and investments in the global economy. Halal investment complies with Shariah law, a set of ethical principles derived from the teachings of Islam.

To invest in a Halal way, it is important to do so thorough research on potential investments. Shaykh Joe Bradford is an entrepreneur and an American scholar of Islam, and one of the few experts on issues involving Muslims and Finance in North America. While his expertise spans many areas, he has focused his efforts on creating companies that allow people of faith and conviction to align their values with their finances.

Shaykh Bradford will be a MAPS guest speaker on January 27 and 28 to explain how to conduct financial investment in a halal and Islamic way.
