Oraib Khalifeh Kabbani has been a member of MAPS for the past ten years.
Oraib has a degree in Sociology and Fictional Writing. She served as a board member of the MAPS Interfaith Outreach committee “IOC” for the last six years. She helped organize the interfaith Iftar and has been organizing visits to MAPS. She hosted over 2,000 students from privet public schools and colleges, giving them tours and presenting them with basic information about Islam.
Oraib has been a member of the MAPS Muslim Community Recourse Center “MCRC” for the last five years. She has led MCRC’s efforts in setting up a logistics operations that had provided furniture and household items for over 500 refugee families for the last five years.
Oraib is Palestinian American. She is married and has four daughters. She is an avid reader, and enjoys hiking, painting and gardening.
