Alaa Badr is Vice President of Customer Experience at a top 5 Cloud Infrastructure provider; his prior role was Vice President of Cloud Computing at leading Silicon Valley virtualization leader. He leads a global team that helps define future product strategy, architect solutions, and migrate customers to Cloud Services. He participates in weekly study circles covering interfaith topics and Islam 101, and is a also regular presenter at various nonprofit organizations including Standing for Justice and Equality with various interfaith groups. Growing up, Alaa spent time in the Middle East, Europe, USA, South America, and Australia – he considers himself a citizen of the world and loves languages. Alaa is originally from Egypt and lives in Seattle with his wife and 3 daughters.
