Updated Masking Guidance

As’salaam Alaikum / Peace be upon you:

With the decline in case rates and hospitalizations across King County and Washington state, and in compliance with King County guidelines, we are updating the masking requirement at MAPS. Starting March 12, 2022, masks are no longer mandatory at MAPS. We support the decision of anyone who chooses to continue to wear a mask (and/or continue to socially distance) while at the MAPS facility, but we will no longer enforce these general mandates.

However, because some of our young students are not yet vaccinated, education programs for children under 12 will still require masks. This includes Sunday school, Precious Hearts and Quran classes.

We strongly encourage everyone to get fully vaccinated and the booster dose if you have not already done so. Vaccine locations can be found here.

Thank you for your support in keeping the community safe, and may you all be safe, protected, blessed, and rewarded. Ameen.

Wa’salaams (with peace),
Aamer Mohammed
