Quran Classes at MAPS

Welcome to Quran Memorization Program

As-salamu Alaikum,
 
MAPS Quran Classes are now available for registration:
 
MAPS Quran classes help students to:
 
a) learn to read the Quran in Arabic 
b) learn the meaning of short surahs that they learn 
c) memorize short surahs. 
 
Emphasis in our Quran classes is for students to learn to read independently than on memorization.

There are four (5) programs available

  1. Tuesday/Thursday evenings (6 levels – see more information below)
  2. Saturday morning (2 levels)
  3. Morning Quran memorization
  4. Evening Quran memorization
  5. Adult one on one online class

Tuesday/Thursday Evening Classes:

Ages: 4+ (must be 4 before September 2022)
Start Date: October 4th, 2022
Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30pm – 7:00pm
Location: MAPS Redmond
Fee: $85 per month, $50 one-time registration fee
Levels: 6 levels
 
New students are initially placed according to age. In the first two weeks students will continue to be assessed to determine and will be leveled accordingly. Previous students will be leveled according to the prior year.
 
Level 1: 4-5 (Alphabet)
Level 2: 5-6 (Connecting letters)
Level 3: 6+ (Beginners)
Level 4: 7+ (Intermediate)
Level 5: 8+ (Fluency)
Level 6: 9+ (Advanced)

Saturday Morning Classes:

Ages: 7+ (must be 7 before September 2022)
Start Date: October 1st, 2022
Times: Saturday 10:00am – 11:00am (Beginners), 11:00am – 12:00pm (Advanced)
Location: MAPS Redmond
Fee: $45 per month, $50 one-time registration fee
Levels: 2 levels
 
Level 1: Beginner (learning to read) for ages 7+
Level 2: Advanced (can already read but want to learn tajweed) for ages 11+

Quran Memorization Classes:

For families that are serious about Quran memorization, we have classes for students who can already read the Quran with our Qari, Sh. Aslam. Classes are taken online or in-person (or mixed). Students are seeing a lot of progress and we hope to produce more Huffaz of the Quran in our community with family engagement: Click here to learn more.

Adult one on one online class

Sh. Aslam Acha offers 1-on-1 Quran tutoring for both children and adults for those looking to learn Qur’an reading, recitation and memorization. This is an opportunity to connect with your local masjid and Qari while learning the language of Allah’s book.
Times are flexible to accommodate your schedule. Simply book times on our booking calendar. There is the option of meeting virtually over Skype/Zoom or in-person at MAPS.  Click here to learn more and register
