Osman Salahuddin is 25 years old and is a recent graduate of the University of Washington where he studied Neurobiology and English. He also served as the University’s Student Body President and was very involved with the University community.
Currently, Osman has a full-time position for a NYC-based consulting firm, GLG, where he is a Healthcare Consultant conducting research for medical device companies. He also works in a contracted role with Washington Permanente Medical Group, working to establish a non-profit organization that will aim to help underrepresented students reach careers in the healthcare field.
With regards to his work with MAPS, Osman has been very involved, leading the project to overhaul and redesign the MAPS Brand and Website. Leading the project for several months, Osman was able to establish a new identity for the Masjid. He was also recognized as the MAPS Model Citizen of the Year in 2018.
Inshallah in the Fall, Osman will be going back to the University of Washington to begin a Master’s degree in Public Administration with hopes of serving his community further through policy and advocacy work.
