We are excited to share that the youth in our community have expressed a keen interest in starting a Boy Scouts troop at MAPS in the coming year. Scouting is a wonderful opportunity for our youth to learn valuable skills and build character while enjoying fun outdoor activities.

As you may know, scouting is a worldwide youth movement that focuses on practical outdoor activities, including camping, woodcraft, aquatics, hiking, backpacking, and sports. The Scout method is a program of informal education that emphasizes learning by doing and encourages young people to be self-reliant, responsible, and helpful to others.

 

To have a successful troop, we need support from all parents in the community. We encourage you to keep this in mind before registering your interest in scouting. If you are interested in volunteering or helping in any way, please let us know by filling out the interest form.
