Assalamu Alaykum,

As another transformative year at MAPS comes to a close, we are grateful for the immense support and commitment of our generous community. Your contributions have played a pivotal role in enabling us to achieve remarkable milestones and continue serving our community as best as we can.

Recap of Achievements:

Throughout the past year, your support has allowed us to accomplish the following:

Growth:

1. Doubled Sunday school capacity by starting another shift in the afternoon, doubled Friday prayer in MAPS Seattle, increased capacity for youth seminary, increased visiting-scholars series, etc.
2. Promoted Precious Hearts to Precious Hearts Montessori Co-Op Preschool
3. Established a new branch in Snohomish County/Marysville. This new masjid has started offering 5 daily prayers, kicked-off youth program by a newly hired Youth Director, a Sunday school, and a pre-school programs

Youth and Young Professionals:

1. Completed hiring of Imam to attract the youth & young professionals to our daily prayer and other activities, while creating a role for MAPS Ambassador to help us connect with other communities across the State
2. Increased youth scholarships to attend national seminaries (aka MAPS Scholars Program) to four (4) students this year, who have started their attendance. Note, our past sponsored students are helping in giving sermons and classes
3. Provided youths an opportunity to participate and learn from our summer internship program 

Facilities:

1. Purchased a facility for MAPS-SnoCo branch in the City of Marysville
2. Acquired MAPS-Garden (cemetery) in Redmond very close to MAPS-Redmond

These accomplishments would not have been possible without the collective efforts of our dedicated community members, volunteers, and, most importantly, your ongoing commitment.

Initiatives in Progress – Institutionalization:

1. Work towards financial self-sufficiency of MAPS operations/programs by launching a True Endowment program.

• Note: The Endowment cash reserve account has been created but we need to get to $800k – $1M to launch a True Endowment.

1. Hire professional staff for key programs/initiatives, e.g. ED for operations, Funeral Director, etc. 
2. MAPS Seattle lease or real estate purchase.

As we approach the end of the year, we kindly remind those who have made pledges to MAPS to consider completing their commitments. Your support is crucial in sustaining our programs, maintaining our facilities, and initiating new projects that will benefit our community for years to come.
