Youth Islamic Studies
Principles of Faith
In this studies on principles of faith, we cover the fundamental truths in Islam that serve as our foundation for being Muslim. Through these studies we hope to cultivate a God-centered worldview that approaches contemporary debates and topics through a critical and thoughtful engagement with revelation.
Topics covered in this class include Tafseer, history of revelation, science of pronunciation (Tajweed), different methodologies of reciting the Qur’an (Qira’at), and the etiquette of its recitation.
