Digital Marketing 101: Kickstarting Your Social Media Goals

The class covers understanding how to be on social media by breaking down the three keys of social media: 

  • Connect (which platforms should you have, posting the right content) 
  • Be Relevant (being relevant to your business and your field, content within your field) 
  • Be Consistent (creating a schedule/content calendar, how often to post, etc.) 

The class is open for all (anyone looking to learn how to use social media to effectively brand yourself, your business, and your agenda; most specifically for all varieties of small business owners). 

Digital Marketing 201: Step-by-Step Class to Support Hands-on Learning

January 27, 2023, 7:00pm – 8:00pm (limit 10 businesses)
Instructor: digital content creator Sarah Rassool 
Location: MAPS-Redmond   

This is a skills-based class where individuals will dive into their platforms and perform social media audits with a step-by-step instruction/direction to support hands-on learning. 

  • Short walk-through social media audit handout showing what accounts should look like. 
  • Individual work time 
  • Individuals will work in their own social media audits to run through their digital marketing persona to get into the strategy of marketing.
