Easing COVID Restrictions at MAPS Effective July 2, 2021

As Washington state reopened earlier this week for business and recreation easing COVID restrictions across the state, we at MAPS are also following these guidelines and easing restrictions for all in-person activities at MAPS.   Effective Friday, July 2, 2021, our updated guidelines are as follows:

  1. No need for registration via app for prayers, including Jummah/Friday prayer
  2. Vaccinated section will become the default regular section with a larger space
  3. A smaller socially distanced section for people who still want to continue praying apart. Distance in this section will be 3 ft.
  4. Prayer rugs are optional
  5. Masks are still required indoors, as per WA DOH guidelines, even if you’re fully vaccinated
  6. Wudu areas & bathrooms are fully open
  7. Shoe racks can be used
  8. No temperature checks at the door
  9. Entry / Exit from all open doors are allowed
  10. Two Friday prayers will continue at 1:15 and 2:15. Live streaming will continue as well.

In a nutshell, except masks requirement indoors, all COVID restrictions are removed.
