MAPS is pleased to announce annual membership drive to help new families and individuals moving into our area to become MAPS members while also providing existing members an opportunity to renew their membership to continue to be part of MAPS general body and participate in the MAPS annual elections.
We will make this drive an annual tradition around this time of the year to help everyone sign-up or renew their membership by 20th April. In this way, you will be able to participate in the elections held after 20th October in accordance with 180 days of membership requirement per MAPS Bylaws.
As our membership has become stale due to people moving out of the area, this year we are requiring everyone (even if you think you’re already a member) is to come in and renew your membership by resubmitting membership form and pay your yearly dues (fee is reduced for this year to $25/person)
Even if you’re an existing member of MAPS, if you don’t come in, sign the form again by showing your photo id (Washington State ID or Driving License), and pay your yearly dues by April 20th, 2018, you WILL NOT be able to vote in the upcoming 2018 MAPS elections end of October.
Rest assured for those running for elections, we maintain our records of your membership as it requires at least one year of membership.
Membership Sign-Up & Renewal Process:

Complete following steps by April 20th, 2018, if you like to participate in this year’s elections:
1. Visit MAPS library during library opening hours (see below)
2. Bring in your Washington photo id showing your address
3. Fill up, sign, and submit the membership form
4. Pay annual membership dues ($25 per person instead of $50, only for this year)
5. Every person of the family over 18yr needs to individually visit and sign the membership form. We’re not going to handle family membership anymore
If for any disability, you cannot visit MAPS physically, please call us and we’ll try to make an alternative arrangement.
Library Opening Hours:
• Monday-Thursday: 1pm – 8pm
• Friday: 1pm-9pm
• Saturday: 10am-2pm
• Sunday: 10am-4pm
